ActiveCampaign consultant, Australia
Strategy, automation builds, list management, and deliverability — for Australian businesses that want to get more out of ActiveCampaign, or migrate off it.
ActiveCampaign is one of the more capable platforms in the mid-market: solid automation builder, useful CRM features, and a flexible contact model that works for businesses with longer and more complex sales cycles.
But it's also easy to accumulate a tangle of overlapping automations, neglected lists, and deliverability problems that nobody noticed building up. Most ActiveCampaign accounts we work with were set up correctly at some point — and then weren't touched as the business grew.
What we do
Automation audit and rebuild. We map your existing automation architecture: what's active, what's triggering correctly, what's firing on the wrong contacts, and what's missing entirely. We then fix and rebuild in priority order — the automations closest to revenue first.
List hygiene. Disengaged subscribers drive up complaint rates and suppress deliverability. We clean the list, build sunset automation (automatic suppression of long-inactive contacts), and set up engagement-based segmentation so your broadcasts land in the inbox.
Deliverability. We check SPF, DKIM, and DMARC configuration, review sending domain setup, and fix authentication gaps. If you've had a deliverability incident, we identify the cause and build a remediation plan.
CRM and pipeline setup. For B2B businesses, we configure contact scoring, deal pipelines, and the automation triggers that connect marketing activity to your sales process.
Campaign management. Regular email campaigns — planned, written, designed, and sent. ActiveCampaign's visual builder and conditional content blocks let us do more personalisation per send than most simpler platforms allow.
Platform migrations. If ActiveCampaign isn't the right fit for where your business is going, we'll tell you — and handle the migration to a platform that is. For e-commerce brands, that usually means Klaviyo. For larger B2B teams, it's often HubSpot.
Whether to stay or migrate
If you're using ActiveCampaign for a B2B or service business with a genuine sales process, it's probably the right platform. Get it working properly before considering a switch.
If you're using it for an e-commerce business — particularly one running on Shopify — the gap in native e-commerce data integration is real. Klaviyo's browse abandonment triggers, product feed integration, and purchase-based segmentation are materially more powerful for that use case.
We'll tell you which situation you're in before we recommend anything.

- Who is ActiveCampaign best suited for?
- ActiveCampaign is strongest for B2B and service businesses that need CRM functionality alongside email automation. Its deal pipelines, lead scoring, and contact activity tracking make it genuinely useful for businesses with a longer sales cycle. For e-commerce, Klaviyo is almost always the better fit — the native purchase data integration is materially deeper.
- Can you migrate us from ActiveCampaign to another platform?
- Yes. The most common moves are to Klaviyo (for e-commerce) or HubSpot (for B2B with a larger sales team). We handle the full migration: data export and cleaning, automation rebuilding, sending domain setup, and a warm-up plan.
- Our automations are complex — can you audit what we have?
- That's often the most valuable starting point. Most ActiveCampaign accounts we inherit have automations that were built at launch and never reviewed. We map what's live, what's firing correctly, what's orphaned, and what's missing — then prioritise fixes by revenue impact.
- Do you offer ongoing ActiveCampaign management?
- Yes. Ongoing retainers cover automation management and optimisation, monthly campaign builds, list hygiene, and reporting. We work with both small businesses on simpler setups and larger teams with complex multi-automation architectures.
